Power Dynamics

This year we have had a lot of change in the administration at our school. We still have an interim principal as our leader, and it has been very difficult. What I have found that when administration ultimately make the final decisions regarding issues at a school, and if that administrator doesn't have the experience working in that particular education setting it can be a very rough year not only for the teachers, but for the parents and students as well. What I have experienced is if you have any issues it is best to follow a "chain of command." You discuss with your team lead, and then with your administrator who then makes the final decision.
